This website is operated by Peppermind, the controller of the personal data collected through it. For any question about this policy you can write to info@peppermind.io.

2. Data we collect on this site

  • Contact form: name, company or venue, email, phone, business type and the message you choose to send us. We use this data solely to answer your request and schedule a product demo.
  • Traffic measurement: if you accept it through the cookie notice, we use Google Analytics and Google Ads tags to measure site usage and ad effectiveness. These services may use cookies and device identifiers.
  • WhatsApp: if you contact us through WhatsApp, the conversation is additionally governed by WhatsApp's privacy policies.

3. Purpose and basis of processing

We process your data with your consent, to handle your information or demo request, follow up commercially on that request, and improve this site. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for purposes other than those described here.

4. About the ID Scan product

ID Scan is an access-control platform used by bars, nightclubs and event organizers ("operators"). When an operator uses ID Scan at their venue, that operator acts as the controller of their visitors' data, and Peppermind acts as a processor on their behalf. Access to data within the platform is limited through roles and permissions, and each organization can only access its own information.

5. Your rights (Law 8968)

Under Costa Rica's Law on the Protection of Individuals regarding the Processing of their Personal Data (Law No. 8968), you may exercise your rights of access, rectification and deletion, as well as withdraw your consent, by writing to info@peppermind.io.

6. Retention and security

We keep contact-form data for as long as necessary to handle and follow up on your request. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy occasionally. The current version will always be published on this page with its last-updated date.
